A garden of Eden in our very own Porbandar called Mokarsagar also known as Gosabara is a heaven for birdwatching. I was taken aback by the natural beauty and the amazing avian diversity present. It has approximately 260 species of birds out of which appx. 130 are waterbirds along with 22 sp. of mammals and 39 species of reptiles. More than the numbers, the experience was priceless. I would love to come back again and again and never be satisfied with the sightings. Thanking the members of Mokarsagar Wetland Conservation Committee of Porbandar for maintaining the OASIS of LIFE.
